Pfister 910-374 is the hot and cold compression stem for multi-handle tub and shower valves: brass, 12-point broach, one stem for both sides. Its bonnet is smooth, with no outside threads. It is not 910-013, the shorter Crown Imperial and Bedford stem, though one seller lists 910-374 under Crown Imperial.
Schematic, not to scale. It shows only the features named on this page. The lower end is left blank because no source gives the tip. No bench photo of this part yet.

Where it goes
Pfister's spec sheet calls 910-374 a shower stem for compression multi-handle valves and names no series.
Home Depot's listing for the genuine part names the Marquis series and two- or three-handle faucets; Danco files its equivalent under Contempra and Contessa.
The FourHome listing places its replacement on Marquis, Contempra and Contessa three-handle valves with a smooth bonnet, hot or cold side.
Not Crown Imperial or Bedford: Pfister's Bedford parts explosion lists 910-013, and a parts seller files 910-013 under Bedford and Crown Imperial.
Confirm it is your part
Which handle. It came from behind the left or right handle. A stem from the center handle is a diverter, not this part.
Spline count on the handle end: 12. Catalogs code that pattern H. A stem with 16 splines is not this part. Sayco stems have 16.
Outside of the bonnet. Run a fingernail around it. Bare metal with no threads: this part. Threads on the outside: 910-372, a different hot and cold stem.
Stem gauge. Danco and BrassCraft catalog it at length 12. A Pfister hot and cold stem with 12 splines that gauges at length 9 is in the short Crown Imperial and Bedford class with 910-013, not this part.
Travel. The stem climbs and drops over several turns of the handle. A part that stops at a quarter turn is a cartridge.
Markings. 910-374 or 910-3740 on the old stem or its card settles it. One parts seller gives the bonnet its own number, 930-030.
Splined end. Pfister's drawing dimensions it at 3/8 in. across.
Look-alikes
Pfister 910-013 (910-0130), Crown Imperial and Bedford stem
Why it gets confusedSame maker, same 12-point H broach, same hot and cold job. One seller lists 910-374 for Crown Imperial valves.
How to tellStem gauge. BrassCraft puts 910-013 at length 9 and 910-374 at length 12, three classes apart. Pfister's Bedford parts explosion lists 910-013, and a parts seller files it under Bedford and Crown Imperial. Two parts, two valves.
Pfister 910-372 hot and cold stem
Why it gets confusedSide-handle hot and cold stem with 12 splines. BrassCraft puts both in length 12.
How to tellThe bonnet. BrassCraft's entry for 910-372 reads outside bonnet threads. Home Depot's listing for the genuine 910-374 says its bonnet has no external threads. Threads you can feel on the bonnet mean 910-372.
Pfister 910-385 diverter stem
Why it gets confusedOne parts seller lists 910-374 and 910-385 as parts that look the same but are not interchangeable.
How to tellHandle position. 910-385 is the diverter and comes from the center. The same seller numbers the bonnets separately: 930-030 on 910-374, 930-060 on 910-385. No source found gives a tip difference.
Pfister 910-382 diverter stem
Why it gets confusedBrass Pfister stem, 12 splines, gauge length 12. One retail rebuild kit carries both numbers.
How to tellTwo differences. It is a center-handle diverter, and the FourHome listing for this stem describes 910-382 as the threaded-bonnet diverter. A side-handle stem with a bare bonnet is not 910-382.
Sayco P002 hot and P004 cold stems
Why it gets confusedBrass hot and cold compression stems from another three-handle tub and shower valve.
How to tellSplines. Sayco stems have 16, catalog code B, and gauge at length 9. BrassCraft marks P002 right-hand and P004 left-hand. The Pfister stem has 12 splines and one hand for both sides.

Where the sources disagree, the figure is left off until it is settled.
Overall length. Pfister's drawing, listings for the genuine part and the aftermarket catalogs print different figures, so none is printed. Use the gauge length class, the spline count and the bonnet.
910-013 as a second number for this stem. Some parts data files the two together. Pfister documents and listings for the genuine parts keep them apart, so 910-013 appears here only as a look-alike.
Model range and year break. Two pages for the same Danco stem end the model range at different numbers, and no Pfister document with a series, a range or a date was found.
Width across the bonnet and thread size. Sources disagree on the first. One seller alone prints the second and does not say which thread it means.
The diverter that belongs beside this stem, and an old style or new style label. A parts list and a retail kit pair it differently, and catalogs use the style labels in opposite ways.
Field notes
Tag each stem with its handle position as it comes out. One parts seller warns that 910-374 and the 910-385 diverter look the same and are not interchangeable.
Pfister's parts explosion for the 01-31XA series valve lists 910-030 and 910-022, not 910-374. A parts seller names those a ceramic cartridge and a diverter stem. A valve with cartridges behind the side handles does not take 910-374.
FourHome replacement
The FourHome replacement for Pfister 910-374 is one brass hot and cold stem per package, smooth bonnet on the stem, no bibb seat in the package.
