Pfister 910-382 is the center-handle diverter stem and bonnet for three-handle tub and shower valves: brass, compression type, 12-point broach. Its bonnet has outside threads. The 910-385 diverter matches it in broach and position but has a smooth bonnet.
Schematic, not to scale. It shows only the features named on this page. The lower end is left blank because sources describe the tip differently. No bench photo of this part yet.

Long-form number one parts seller uses for the same diverter stem unit.
Where it goes
The FourHome listing places it in the center position of Pfister and Price Pfister three-handle tub and shower valves that take 910-382 with a threaded bonnet.
Home Depot's listing for the genuine Pfister part says the outside bonnet threads are for faucets with a sleeve.
Danco prints the same Pfister series names on its external-thread diverter and on its no-thread diverter. The series name does not settle the part. The bonnet does.
Pfister's 01 Series three-handle parts explosion for valve body 01-31XA lists 910-022 as the diverter. No current Pfister parts document that was opened lists 910-382.
Confirm it is your part
Position. It came from behind the center handle of three, the one that sends water to the tub spout or the showerhead.
Splines. Count the teeth on the handle end. This part has 12.
Bonnet. Look at the outside of the bonnet that came out with the stem. Threads on it: this part. Smooth, no threads: 910-385.
Gauge. On a BrassCraft stem gauge it reads length 12. A Pfister diverter that reads length 9 is the short 910-022.
Number. Check the old stem or its packaging for 910-382.
Construction. Brass compression stem with a bonnet. A ceramic disc cartridge or a single-handle valve part is something else.
Look-alikes
Pfister 910-385 diverter stem
Why it gets confusedSame position, same 12-point broach, same gauge class.
How to tellThe bonnet. Danco catalogs the no-thread Pfister diverter as bonnet and no threads, and the FourHome listing assigns the smooth bonnet to 910-385. The 910-382 bonnet has outside threads. Spline count and gauge class will not separate them.
Pfister 910-374 hot and cold stem
Why it gets confusedA brass Pfister three-handle stem with the same 12-point broach.
How to tellIt comes from the left or right handle, not the center. Home Depot's listing for the genuine 910-374 says the bonnet does not have external threads.
Pfister 910-372 hot and cold stem
Why it gets confusedHot and cold stem with the same outside-thread bonnet. BrassCraft puts it in the same length 12 class.
How to tellPosition only. It sits behind a side handle and shuts water on and off. No source found gives a visible difference in the hand, so keep track of which opening each stem came out of.
Pfister 910-022 diverter stem
Why it gets confusedAlso a center diverter with a 12-point H broach. It is the diverter on Pfister's current 01 series diagrams.
How to tellShorter. BrassCraft gauges 910-022 at length 9 and 910-382 at length 12.
Sayco 06550 diverter stem
Why it gets confusedAnother brass center-handle diverter from a three-handle tub and shower valve. One retailer page and the FourHome listing give its number as 06550.
How to tellCount splines. The Sayco diverter has a 16-point broach, catalog code B, and gauges at length 9. The 910-382 has 12 points, code H, and gauges at length 12.

Where the sources disagree, the figure is left off until it is settled.
Overall length. Catalogs and listings disagree on it, so no figure is printed. Go by the bonnet threads, the spline count and the gauge class.
Series fitment by name. Sellers name different Pfister series for 910-382 and no Pfister document naming the part was found.
Which hot and cold stem pairs with this diverter. Sellers pair it two ways, so no pairing is printed.
Bonnet diameter, bonnet thread size and the shape of the stem tip. No source publishes the first two, and sources describe the tip differently.
Danco 12H-4D and Everbilt 14053 as cross-references. Danco's page prints no Pfister part number, a retailer page for it names a different one, and the Everbilt page names two.
Field notes
Do not sort these stems by old style or new style. Catalogs hang those labels on different Pfister stems. The bonnet threads are the reliable tell.
FourHome replacement
The FourHome replacement is one brass compression diverter stem with its threaded bonnet; the bibb seat is not included.
Catalogs disagree now and then, and makers revise parts without changing the number. Compare the old part before buying. Identify by measurement lists every indexed part near a given length and spline count.
